Professor Aldo Faisal, Professor Maria Liakata, Rishi Das-Gupta MD, Dr Sadaf Alam and Dr Marek Rei take part in a panel discussion at the launch of the Gen AI Hub.

The Gen AI Hub launch saw the unveiling of Nightingale AI, a pioneering initiative for a Large Health Model aimed at transforming the healthcare sector.

The initiative is led by Professor Aldo Faisal, Director of the UKRI Centres in AI for Healthcare at Imperial College London and a co-lead of the Hub’s Healthcare Working Group.

Rosie Niven

Rosie joined the hub from the regional university consortium Science and Engineering Sourh where she was a Communications and Events Manager. Since 2020 she has held a number of communications roles at UCL. Previously a journalist, Rosie has worked in higher education organisations since 2014, including Jisc and Universities UK where she edited the Efficiency Exchange website.
